Vinicius de Moraes, who was well known for his poetry, was also a composer of Bossa Nova along with his close friend Tom Jobim and many others. In the literature, one of the most famous Brazilian writers and poets also born in Rio de Janeiro: Cecilia Meireles. She published his first book at the age of eighteen, and wrote his first poem at nine. Beyond poet, she was also teacher and loved kids, so founded the first childhood library in Brazil. She has left a big legacy in poetry and literature, died at 63 years old in sixties.
